I think I already figured out how to do it and have this saved! =) Thanks for everything.

Thanks for all the help, adding the photo has been of great help to me, eternally grateful!

Sorry for being so tiresome and thanks again !!

Edit: "If you have and don't use Tobii Eye now then just rename the original folder to "OLD eye_tracking_presets" to avoid problems." to be able to make my profiles and select them in the drop-down menu it is necessary to remove the OLD right? if not they do not appear?

@kmorreison - Glad you got it working. You have proved that my instructions in the main post do work. Thanks.
I guess i should have made it a bit easier to understand for non English people.

This is something that SCS doesn't provide and so will take a bit of getting used to for everyone that tries it out.

You need to have "eye_tracking_presets" folder from the zip file. Don't rename it.

That note is for people that may have had a Tobbii Eye device (head tracking) and a folder will already existing in their game folder, hence they should rename it and then use my supplied one in it's place.

Enjoy making cameras !

FIRST POST UPDATE - A new option for Hood & Roof cams.
You can now look around to the side of the truck (like looking out of the window in cam 1) when using these existing cams or keep to looking just 90 degrees left/right, your choice.

Lines 251, 252, 254 & 256 amended - Re-apply these lines to your controls.sii file.
Minor fix to menu mod - Camera rotation slider is now 2 decimal places instead of 1, so all sliders are now the same.
Don't use the supplied "eye_tracking_presets" folder if you already have it from my original release or you risk overwriting your own camera presets, if you've made any.
However, Preset03.sii 'Hood (03)', Preset09.sii 'Hood - W900 (09)', Preset11.sii 'Roof (11)' & Preset12.sii 'Roof - W900 (12)' have been updated to enable this new option. Copy them into your "eye_tracking_presets" folder only if you haven't made your own changes to these already.

To try this new option out:
Make the required line changes first.
In game select 'Hood (03)' from the main preset drop down (if you're using my updated presets) or
Select 'Hood (03)' from the main preset drop down and 'Tick' Look Movement for 'Full' instead of the original 'Half'. You'll then need to edit your preset files if you want to keep this new option for each of them. Change 'false' to 'true' for 'head_position_enabled'.

If you use only 'button look' (left/right 45/90 degrees) then pressing both left or both right buttons will now look 180 degrees, so you can use this option too.

All existing cams will still work as they previously did, the format of the preset file hasn't changed.
This new option will only be enabled if the camera is placed in the truck cab area and this strict criteria is followed:
Move Left / Right Slider = 2.31 to 2.69 (centre of truck area - centre varies per truck)
Move Up / Down Slider = 0.00 to 0.40 (ground to just above general roof height)
Move Forward / Backward = 0.00 to 0.99 (infront of the truck to approx back of cab area)
Camera Rotate = 3.00 (straight ahead only)
Auto Move - Untick
Look Movement - Tick
Any values outside of the above will disable this new option and therefore it won't interfere with other cams.

To update your existing Bumper, Hood & Roof presets if, after testing, you want this option for these cams.
Simply edit the required preset file and change 'false' to 'true' for 'head_position_enabled'.

FIRST POST UPDATE - Improved 'chase cam' movement.

Lines 251, 252, 254, 255 & 256 amended. No change to menu mod.

When using any 'chase cam' your height and pitch will automatically reduce as you turn left/right until you are 180 degrees and facing your truck.
This is now part of 'Auto move camera position when looking left/right' ('tick' on menu or 'true' in preset file) and therefore won't interfere with other cameras that have 'auto move' unticked or false.
To disable this 'auto reduce height/pitch function', if required, for your 'preset chase cam', set it's 'camera rotation' from 3.00 (straight ahead) to 3.01 or any other value. Then a high up chase cam will always stay high up when turning the view.

@alonzam99 - No, if it was an update to that then it would have been in that thread.
Did you not read the post??? Basically, SCS gave us 'roof cam' (button 4) but don't allow you to 'look around' from there. This fixes that.

Also there's a note at the top that says this:
Note: You cannot use this with my 'TrackIR Option 1 or 7 Window Block'.

So you can't use it and shouldn't use it. Anyone that want their TrackIR head blocked by the window is looking for realism and using external cameras isn't realistic (apart from 'walking').

Sorry I haven't read this thread. I want to install this : viewtopic.php?p=27506#p27506
but the title says "for game version 1.38" and mine is 1.39, will this work in 1.39 ?
and why you don't update it anymore ?
