Hi

I have just been trying to update my profile to include the latest setting for NPI but I cannot find the following for either ETS2 or ATS:-

I was trying to get a sharper image.

--- Sharpening - Denoising Factor --------------------- '0.17' // This and the following two parameters are set to counter for the blurring AA causes.
--- Sharpening Filter ------------------------------------ 'On' // See previous!
--- Sharpening Value ------------------------------------ '0.60' // See previous!
--- Ambient Occlusion setting ------------------------- 'High quality' //To enhance the display of occluded shadows.
--- Ambient Occlusion usage -------------------------- 'Disabled' // See above. NOTE: This might be changed to Enabled
--- SILK Smoothness ------------------------------------ '0x00000004' //To get a smoothering effect on rendering.

@MercDriver

If you just read a couple of posts back, I already explained that with the release of NPI v2.3.0.12 the sharpening settings and the SILK Smoothness
was removed, so if you use that NPI version ot later, you won't be able to set them in NPI. Sharpening you can set in NCP or in Freestyle instead, but
regarding SILK Smoothness you will have to forget about it, as it is no more. All this is written in the Step 1 of first post.

@BenganJ - As those settings are far away from step 1 and only looked at once AA is working it's easy to not realise what's wrong.
Perhaps add extra note as highlighted?

--- Sharpening - Denoising Factor --------------------- '0.17' // This and the following two parameters are set to counter for the blurring AA causes. NPI & Driver version dependent - See step 1 note.
NPI & Driver version dependent - See step 1 note.

Hi would you recommend adjusting sharpness and film grain in ATS and ETS2 profile only and not global settings in NCP?

I have noticed that shadows cast are grainy on the truck body ie shadows off handles, mirrors etc. I have looked at config and not sure what to tweak??

@europe

Unless you are 100% sure that a NCP setting will work for ALL programs,
just make the changes for the respective program, in this case ETS2/ATS!
Regarding the shadows, have you read 2 pages back about the shadow
texture size setting? If you have it at default "4096" raise that to "8192"!
