Hi would you recommend adjusting sharpness and film grain in ATS and ETS2 profile only and not global settings in NCP?

I have noticed that shadows cast are grainy on the truck body ie shadows off handles, mirrors etc. I have looked at config and not sure what to tweak??
There is nothing you can do about shadows. As other things in this game, they are just bad. And the only way to have better shadows is if SCS one day, a miracle happens and they decite
to do actual improvements on the game engine. And it wont matter how much resolution you use on shadows. It is just pointless.
Windows 10 xxxx.xxx whatever is the last version... lol.

@tantalus

That's pure bullshit, as he, and a couple of others too, already have adjusted the problem and is damn happy about it.
Did you wake up on the wrong side this morning, I feel the old tantalus today?

@Don Diego - If you have 3 1920x1080 monitors you have 5760x1080 in game resolution.
In Nvidia Surround increase bezel correction value. You'll see an image across your 3 screens that lines up once you have increased it enough. You now have a new "bezel corrected" resolution.

The bezel corrected resolution maybe 5900x1080 (for example). You then pick this new resolution in game.

Or for multimon file only and your original in game triple resolution.
If you use my STEP 2 files then you should see this info inside them:

// Adjust bezels to suit your setup (my example 10mm bezels).
// monitor_config : _Left.AA {
// heading_offset: 3.500000 <- My Bezel (4.0 moves closer
// to center / 3.0 away)
// monitor_config : _Right.AA {
// heading_offset: -3.500000 <- My Bezel (-4.0 moves closer
// to center / -3.0 away)

hi Trucker and thanks for answering me.

yes I use surround and I aligned my screens as well as possible, I think the new resolution is 5840x1080, but if I put its values in ETS2, black screen for 30 seconds and return to the desktops

I have already adjusted the heading_offset Left and Right (I put 1.500000 for Left and Right), horizontal is not too bad, not too much offset when the bezel passes for example on an advertising panel, but vertical (if you look my screenshot) the semi-trailer is not align.

@Don Diego - Use only Nvidia Surround or multmon heading change, not both.
You should see the new resolution in the resolution drop down list in game and then select it.
If not, did you apply the new resolution in Nvidia Surround so that it is available to use?

I don't have 3 monitors connected to my gpu so i can't show an image of what Nvidia Surround should look like.

EDIT:
Is that screenshot a cropped image? there's no dash in view.
If your monitors are different phyical sizes then horizontals will not line up, in that case look here: viewtopic.php?f=23&t=1000&p=31309#p31309

@BenganJ

You told me that with the latest version of NPI, the option silk smoothness is no longer available and instead use Nvidia Freestyle. Can you give more info on what the Nvidia Freestyle is?

@therobloxians1119

Mate, I have NEVER said that Freestyle should replace SILK_Smoothness. I said Freestyle OR NCP
could be used to replace the lost Sharpening in later NPI versions. I suggest you use NCP to start
with. Freestyle might come in later. Again, read the very beginning of post one, Step 1.
