@t2patel

Please, this GrandPa is an oldie. Instead of displaying the FPS counter from Steam, use the Shadowplay one
and make it bigger! Also please, just the driving. Sorry for being a pest right now!

EDIT: In NCP, don't have the setting Fixed refresh, as that will be in conflict with the Frame Rate Limiting
scheme we're trying to use!
you mean fixed rate is the issue?

G sync is off as part of setting..that is why it is showing fixed rate
What should I do next?

@t2patel

Do the settings, but get rid of that Fixed refresh for ETS2, otherwise we will stop here.
You have it globally set, that's your decision, BUT for ETS2, REMOVE it!

EDIT: There's a reason I told you set r_mode_refresh in config.cfg to "0", but that
setting will just add it again, directly in the driver. Understand?

there is only below mentioend options available
G-sync compatible
use global settings (Fixed refresh)
fixed refresh.

Let me try to use G Sync compatible option and drive...although my G sync is off

@t2patel

Well, if that's true, then we can't escape the G-Sync environment,
unless it will disappear if there is a way in the MONITOR settings
to DISABLE it!

In monitor, I can disable Free sync, there is no other option except NCP where I can find G-Sync setting.

I think, I need to on the G-sync setting and after that live with whatever I get. SAD

@t2patel

The driver sense that Freesync is activated and as the monitor also is G-Sync compatible, it will
show the G-Sync stuff in NCP. Try to deactivate Freesync in monitor and see if that gets it solved.

EDIT: If that's NOT possible, you will have to continue your discussion with clear F1 and try copying
his settings, because as I've never used G-Sync, only had others trouble with it to deal with, I can't
help you!

Well, I see no video here for me to watch, so I better wait a while then!
But thanks for confirming that deactivation of Freesync in monitor got
rid of G-Sync stuff in NCP!

Let's last try for the NPI setting...

@ Clear F1
If possible, could you please advise your existing setting of NCP, NPI & config file...It is just a request :help:

I am very much sure that there is no G sync stuff in NCP after freesync off...let me post one small video for the current setting if you need...please confirm
