Hi guys! Struggling from crashes using increased lod for grass and trees, and 3rd grass density in cfg file. Disabling mod on lod distance reduces crashes to minimum but still they can appear.

Mods only Wombat GA Combo plus W990 1.39 and K100E 1.39, Sound Fixes 1.39.

Game log is in attachement.

@angryenot

Hi! I've had to reduce uset g_grass_density from "3" to "2" and also lower my values in the lod for grass and trees
in game_data.sii. I also had those problems with crashes in dense vegetation areas!

@angryenot

The mod I use together with Sound Fixes Pack has these settings!

Code: Select all

	# Currently we use:
	#
	# - first lod class for trees.
	# - second lod class for grass (detail vegetation).
	#
	# Note:
	# Make sure that (end - start) distance for grass
	# is not higher than end/9.0 for proper lod fading.
	leaves_lod_start: (670.0, 670.0, 670.0)
	leaves_lod_end:   (750.0, 750.0, 750.0)

Thx, again! You can't even imagine how u had helped me =)

I've started to bother that my system is unstable, already had passed prime95 Small FFT with avx for 12 hours, 100 cycles of Linpack Xtreme and some extreme memory tests =)

@BenganJ
And I promised to share some my expirience with new monitor. I bought Acer vg270up, its Freesync compitable with Nvidia from 40 to 144 Hz. I think it was better for my eye than 30-40 fps Vsync with huge latency, it has IPS matrix and after VA monitor there was noticable edge strobing, so after I found some green frozen pixels I brought it back to the dealer. So my next attempt will be VA LG 32gk650f.

@BenganJ: Okay, so it is working better now?

I set it, now will test!

@BenganJ
Today about 2000 miles were done using your LOD settings and g_grass_density_2 without crashes. Tomorrow will test deeper.
