I figured out some settings that work for me. I played with the calculator partly out of boredom, partly to find something that works.I almost went with something to the equivalent of a 80-90in TV. In the end I went with the a 57in TV measurement and the distance is 38in (center) and 40in (right). I can't see the left mirror but I don't have to zoom in to see the dash info panel which I can't do anything with the horizontal and vertical fov override settings.

@Wolf68k - Just so you know, you're meant to only enter in the center monitor's eye distance, the other eye distances are automatically calculated. If you're using the advanced calculator, changing the side monitor's eye distance actually does nothing to the end result, it's purely to give the user more info.

Also, while using larger screen size measurements to increase FOV will work, decreasing eye distance can give an equivalent result. I usually recommend keeping your monitor measurements and just decreasing eye distance, since it's fewer numbers to tweak and the end result should have correctly aligned bezels. But as long as you're happy with the result, that's all that really matters.

Hey! Loving the calculator! Thank you very much. I have an issue I can’t seem to solve however.

As you can see the dashboard seems to be somewhat aligned but I’m having an issue with the top part of the screen. The angle isn’t right for some reason. Is this an issue I could be suffering from with curved monitors? To my understanding I have input the correct values into the basic calculator sheet.

Any tips?

@DustyBadSkillz - Make sure your head position and eye level matches what you've put into the calculator, as shown by the visualization diagrams. If that's correct, then yes, the misalignment is most likely due to the curve.

You can try using the curve compensation calculator to reduce the distortion. If you have triple screens, you'll only be able to split one of the monitors into 2. If you have dual screens, you could try splitting both monitors into 2. Step by step instructions are in my guide.

I'm almost ready to release a new hybrid calculator that should be much easier to do curve compensation with. No copy pasting, all the options on one page. If you're willing to wait, it should be available in a few days maybe (no promises though).

Hi, I have some problems with the UI. The resolution of the 3 monitors are 1920x1080 the left one is on portrait(1080x1920). I've been playing with the values but I cannot figure it out how to fix it.

Those are the values given by the calculator:

"Without Aspect Ratio Compensation": 0.219512 (Normalized UI X) 0.390244 (Normalized UI width)
"With Aspect Ratio Compensation": 0.37561 (Normalized UI X) 0.078049 (Normalized UI width)

@heroelias - Unfortunately, that is an issue with how the game handles the UI. As far as I know, you can't specify the height or y position of the UI, it always stays centered within the game window. The aspect ratio compensation feature attempts to solve this issue, but as you can imagine, it only helps to an extent.

In this case, you'll have to move your left monitor down in your display settings, so it is center aligned to the other monitors. The vertical offset should be -420 pixels. If you want precision, use DPEdit to set the monitor positions, I mention it in my mismatched monitor guide.

i've tried using your calculator and i've gotten horrendous results, ive tried tweaking certain settings and still not much difference.

@zincify - Set horizontal_fov_relative_offset to 0 for all monitors, that should fix the alignment. This step has been made more obvious with the updated version of the calculator.

even with the horizontal_fov_relative_offset set to 0 it still looks like this
