Thank you so much Bengan I don't think I need a manual while you are about :D I know Delanclip sell a head-strap but I didn't really like the look of that. I think I have about 3 sets of headphones, so one of them will do. As for the software, I get the impression that opentrack is the better one but Facenoir is slightly simpler to use. Just out of interest which head-tracker did Wombat go for?

@bogdac

Well, he hasn't told me, but if I know him right it's probably
this one that he has borrowed from TrackHat:

https://trackhat.org/trackhat-clip-plus/

But I'm not sure, first he got a clip and then he asked for a camera,
so we'll see the day he dare to show us! :lol:

We will have to get Wombat to do John's challenge again, using the Trackhat and preferably live so that we know he's not cheating! :D

@bogdac

Which opentrack have you installed? One that came with the Clip
or one that you have downloaded from the opentrack site? Can you
make a screen shot of the front page of opentrack for me to look at?
I must have more info that HELPPPPPPPPPP! :D

I downloaded Opentrack from the Delanclip website. I'm sorry but i can't work out how to take a screenshot of opentrack. I noticed in the console of ETS2 I had the message void kdob volume detected. Hope that means more to you than it does to me :)

@bogdac

Okay, we can start with this info! IN THE CABIN YOU WILL ONLY BE ABLE TO ROTATE THE VIEW WITH YOUR HEAD!
That's what headtracking are! In all other views, e.g. view 2 outside, you should be able to use the mouse! When
you look at the center of the screen against the opentrack window, then rotate your head, does that octopus move
accordingly? When in ETS2, does your head movement make the cabin view rotate accordingly?

OK I have mouse control on camera 2, and the octopus moves on opentrack, but not that much. And my head movement makes no difference in ETS2

@bogdac

Okay, it's gonna be a lot of questions, you're my eyes in this search you know!
Did you check if the view in the cabin followed your head movements? I also
checked that downloading opentrack via their site gives you the latest stable
version, so that's OK! Did you also download the CL-Eye driver from DelanClip
site and installed it?
