DX11 strange "rubber banding" effect - possible solution (1.36-1.49)
Re: DX11 strange "rubber banding" effect during driving - possible solution.
@t2patel
Now, I can't tell you what's wrong with your video, but when you post it to YT, the codec is VP09 for 1440p and above, and AVC01 for 1080p and below; it looks better when it's VP09.
If your video is in VP09, it will look better. The most popular YouTube videos will be in VP09 at all resolutions.

Thanks...I will update the output resolution in OBS in the next videoclear F1 wrote: ↑May 30th, 2021, 8:04 am@t2patel

Does steering at 72fps in a real game make it as choppy as your Video?

If I turn at an intersection, does that mean it's smooth in the game, but when I record it, it breaks up like in your previous video?
Assuming so, if the previous Video was recorded in 1080p, it is strange that it would happen with your PC performance.

Ah, the reason you don't get VP09 codec is this setting, Output resolution : 1920 x 1080,
make that Output resolution : 2560x1440, and you'll get it converted to VP09 on YT.
I would also suggest that you set the monitor refresh to 120Hz, but keep all settings in
NPI, NCP and config.cfg. Then the rendered FPS will mostly be 60, same as the rcording
frame rate, which I think can remove experienced stutter from the converted video on
YT. It will probably also make the FPS even more constant within the game. Even for the
recorded video on disk there will be corresponding frame rates with the game.

@BenganJ
You may well be right. Quite right! That's my mentor!
For example, in the MAPA EAA I drove recently, there is hardly any place where the fps drops.
If 60fps is smooth in games, then 1440p60 is smooth in recordings.
Is it choppy because it's thinned out from 72fps to 60fps?

@clear F1
Well, 12 frames per second will be dropped and in an irregular way. It might not
be seen easily but the irregularity is there.

Please suggest all other setting with 120 hz if any change asBenganJ wrote: ↑May 30th, 2021, 11:58 am@t2patel

Monitor RR 120 Hz
In NPI
V sync 1/2 refresh rate
Prefered RR use the 3D applicaton setting.
In config : uset t_averaging_window_length "120"
Result : game is choppy and FPS vary between 45 to 60

Please, start read what I write! In that quote I say "KEEP ALL OTHER SETTINGS IN NPI, NCP AND CONFIG.CFG"!
