DX11 strange "rubber banding" effect - possible solution (1.36-1.49)
Re: DX11 strange "rubber banding" effect during driving - possible solution.
Bengan, Clear F1 & JH Trucker..I must thank each one of you from bottom of my heart to create this forum and helping me...
I have been playing ETS 2 for long, I guess starting from version 1.33 if I am not wrong. earlier with realistic graphic mod till version 1.38, last to last week I came to know from my friend (Anand Patel) for NPI setting.. He also helped me a lot...Thanks to him also...Grandpa you must know him.
Anyways lets come to point..
Today is ALMOST good day for me. why I am saying that because there is almost NO choppy screen issue in game in the morning time.
What I did is that I had uninstalled my Nvidia driver yesterday before went to bed and shut down my PC.
I installed my driver again in today morning and applied Clear F1 setting again no change and that choppy screen issue was gone... the game was running very smoothly on 60 fps almost 90% of time.
but again, when I shut down my pc in the afternoon and started in the evening. that choppy screen came back when FPS was dropped in some places in city, on highway Randomly...
I had restarted my pc many time, applied NPI setting again and again there is no luck...
Once again I had installed my Nvidia driver through clean installation and the game is back to normal... no choppy screen issue..
WHAT WOULD BE THE PERMANENT SOLUTION FOR THIS ISSUE?
When I say choppy screen it is exactly the same issue which clear F1 had earlier in below his video.
The blinker sound is also accelerated/decelerated.
@ Clear F1,
how you had to get rid of this issue in the past?
Once I applied your setting sharpening 0.40 & film grain 0.17 in NCP and after that when I restarting my game this setting automatically disappear. Only this setting other settings remain there. are you also facing similar problem?

Re: DX11 strange "rubber banding" effect during driving - possible solution.
@t2patel
I take it we're back at the rubber-band effect again. This is not an actual answer it's a check.
1. Version of NPI?
2. Version of Nvidia driver?
3. Monitor refresh rate?
4. Any single Frame Rate Limiter activated and if so which?
I hope you have learned by now that several Frame Rate Limiters activated at the same time
isn't a good thing, they will conflict!
Yes, I'm a GrandPa for Anand Patel too!
EDIT: A fifth q. Have you tried to use DDU to de-install and totally clean up after the driver?

Nvidia driver latest version 466.47
My refresh rate 120 hz
Grand pa in first test There is no change in Clear F1 setting, the same I had implimented..
In the Second test run
changes made only 1/3 V sync in NPI and config t_averaging_window_length 96
What is DDU? I dont know
Edit : I got it DDU Display driver uninstaller..I will download the same and try
Re: DX11 strange "rubber banding" effect during driving - possible solution.
@t2patel
DDU = Display Driver Uninstaller is a tool that will totally clean up everything Nvidia driver installed.
After it has cleaned up one can install a new driver cleanly. Read about it here:

This beats me. I've said it before, but it really does. No logic at all.
JHTrucker should have a look at this. The only other thing I can do
is to ask you again, to take as many screenshots it takes to show
NPI and NCP settings for ETS2 and the latest game log, the ZIP it
all and post it!

@t2patel
I have an idea for you to test. But lets do that later when both are awake again!
