@tantalus

No, NPI is way more than AA settings, it is about setting most of the Nvidia driver settings, NOT
available in Nvidias own Control Panel.

@therobloxians1119

Let's start with you posting your game log after config of Step 1 - 3 and starting
the game one time up to the menu.

I got a question. Does anyone know why the game doesn't run smoothly at 30fps while i manually set my refreshrate from 75hz to 60hz. I do get smooth fps at 37fps. And when i get the 37 fps everything is smoothly except for the road. It seems it has a springyness to it (hard to explain) like a really light stutter but not enough to not notice it

@mgysgtdev

First off, are you using r_vsync set to "2" to get half refresh rate limit? Next, have you
t_averaging_window_length set to at least double the FPS limit? In any case, please
post your full settings, NPI screenshots and game log will do.

R-vsync is indeed 2, and my refreshrate is srt ingame to 60hz and in the controll panel aswell. The averaging window length is set to 60. But if i toggle the fps counter it says 37 instead of 30. How do i post screenshots and such here? Every forum has it's own rules regarding posting such things

@mgysgtdev

Try skipping the setting to 60 in-game, leave it at Default.You have to be consistent with limit set and refresh rate set for monitor.
They have to correspond. r_vsync "2" wiil take care of correspondence between monitor refresh rate and limited FPS, but keeping
in-game set to 60 will mess things up.

So i skipped the ingame refreshrate but now it rises al the way up to 60 fps. Instead of limiting it. And any fps below 40 feels not smooth. This is really wierd.

@mgysgtdev

Are you sure the r_vsync is set to "2" and you have NO other frame limiting set elsewhere?
Have you a G-Sync monitor? Is G-Sync active? Different limiters will always mess things up,
as they will battle each other.

I found the problem. In the npi, vsync was set to fast sync. Done that a long time ago cause of screen tearing. Stupid thing of me to forget about that.

May i ask another question. Is 75hz better to use then 60hz. My monitors are 75hz ones but i use them as 60hz
