Please, now you're doing it again! I know exactly what Scanline Sync is!
I just wanted to know if anyone tested it and with which result!

Re: [DX11] Help regarding Nvidia Profile Inspector (NPI)
Just curious. Has anyone tried the updated pre-release of inspector. If so is it any better?? Is it worth updating??

The only difference is that the NPI Image sharpening parameter settings are removed, nothing else!
I would say that you ONLY have to update to this version if you also have updated the driver to the
very latest one, 445.75!

Thank you. Yes running the latest nvidia driver version. Will give the new inspector a try and see what happens..

Nothing will happen apart from the fact that you now can't deal with
Image sharpening through NPI! But can you do me a favor and check
if Nvidia Control Panel, NCP, still include the Image sharpening or
if Nvidia has removed it too?

Yes the setting in NCP still has it in 445.75. Does seem like it does nothing tho

Yes, as I reported earlier, in the release notes for that version, Nvidia says there is some
problems with it, so maybe that's why Orbmu2k just removed them totally from NPI, at
least for now!

Hello @BenganJ , the effect is amazing!Thank you.
I have some questions about below values. I don't understand what these values are set for.
leaves_lod_start: (240.0, 410.0, 50.0)
leaves_lod_start: (Use High Detail Tree Distance<240 Meters, HD Grass Distance<410 Meters, HD Height=50 Meters)
Fade out area: (300-240=60, 460-410=50, 100-50=50)
leaves_lod_end: (300.0, 460.0, 100.0)
leaves_lod_end: (Use Low Detail Tree Distance≥240 Meters, LD Grass Distance≥410 Meters, LD Height≥50 Meters)

Can i understand values asIt changes the LOD from the default of:
leaves_lod_start: (240.0, 410.0, 50.0)
leaves_lod_end: (300.0, 460.0, 100.0)
To this:

Thank you for those kind words, it's always nice to get some feedback, BUT,
I must emphasize strongly that I'm NOT alone in this, both Road Runner and
JHTrucker has done a brilliant job in this. Others have also contributed.
To be honest, SCS doesn't tell more about those parameters, than what I have
posted in the first post. I still don't know what the third parameter there are
for, if anything. I have interpreted their info as a distance and range, where
trees, first parameter pair, and grass , second pair, will change LOD from low
quality to high. These categories of objects are so called procedural, generated
on the fly as random ones. And as you can see in the info there is one restriction,
and these settings are in the game file game_data.sii. That file MAY be located also
in mods, so one has to search for the highest priority one using it in Mod Manager.
P.S. LOD = Level Of Detail. Also note, that whatever parameters and values we set,
it is always the game engine that limits what's ACTUALLY done! D.S.
