I'll start the list, and add it as we go. Please dont touch any of this sites:
ETS2MODING.RU - stolen content
ETS2.LT - some legitimate uploads only to be reuploaded on a "clone" site
ETS2MODS.LT - stolen content redirected from ETS2.LT
MODLAND.NET - stolen content
ALLMODS.NET - stolen content
MODHUB.US - stolen content
===== Sorry for off-topic! =====
BUT, please, watch carefully who is credited and most of all, WHO is the UPLOADER
on the following two mod sites. Today the mod thief mods82 are allowed to put
himself as only credited person and as uploader he's just XXXXX. How can those sites
allow that in fully openness? Try to use original mod sites first of all and these sites ONLY if you can verify that the uploader is the creator! Thank you!
Sadly there are even worse ones, these two at least mixes correct and false
ones and that makes it even more important to check the UPLOADER, if
possible, and if not, DON'T DOWNLOAD.
Mods linked from these sites and others to ShareMods e.g. is possible to verify the UPLOADER.
Here's a video where I show first the mods82 thief mod, stolen one, and then a correct one Sound Fixes Pack created and uploaded by Drive Safely!
Another download service where you can see who uploaded the mod is modsBase and in both
ShareMods and modsBase cases you can go to second stage, see the uploader. If it's the correct
one, you can click the Download button, else just leave! Here I show you modsBase and a good
uploader, namely Jazzycat. NOTE, I've seen a mod thief use the JazzyCat nickname to upload
the fake (stolen) mod, so LOOK carefully folks!
Thank you Bengan. As you know I have been caught out by this before :(

Yes, an own topic is probably needed to point it out strongly and also
makes it possible to link to. Thanks Arayas!

Modland is a shitty page. Milton Danila (mods82) has multiple accounts giving a bad rating for the original mods so his mods show up on the top.
But I have a small trick: I wait til Milton stole my mod and then I upload the original mod on the site. It doesn't stop him at all but at least my downloads are at a constant rate. The users don't care if the mod is stolen. You'll find my mods also on these sites. Things like reporting rarely work. Especially Sharemods takes it sweet time. But it's normal with shitloads of data on their servers.

He seams legit, i know he's pretty old moder for ETS.
The problem with ETS2.LT is not their content, 50% from the real creators, is their activity to redirect the creator's work towards a stolen mods site they own ETS2MODS.LT

Hahahaha, today I saw on ETS2.LT that one of my SAT BG's was uploaded,
NOT BY ME, but by Visitor, watch out for that one in the future.
