New DLC

SCS just released this blogpost, it has screenshots from the DLC after Iberia https://blog.scssoft.com/2020/10/8-year ... truck.html

From the looks of it it’s either Ukraine, Russia (part of it ofc) or Belarus, or two of them combined (all would be to much for one DLC)

We don't know yet which area it is, no signs and no text at all.
So, why are you so sure about it?

1. There are texts and signs on some of the screenshots, just zoom in on some of them
2. There are Ladas (Russian car) in some screenshots
3. The screenshots really reminds me of BTBS, which included Russia

продукты24 (name of the store) is in russian. May be FYR also. So, west balkans or road to Moscow.

Western Balkans? Probably not, this looks WAY to northern and flat to be anywhere in the Balkans

Edit: look at this bus stop sign in the blog post
Image
And here’s a irl Russian bus stop sign

Now compare that to this Serbian/Yugoslavian bus stop sign

As you can see the Serbian doesn’t match the one on the screenshot, the Russian one does

My post on Discord:
Some sign on a store in those pictures is in russian. There were some rumors about a road to Moscow or a Road to Adriatic Sea. IMO, judging by the fact Moldova, Belarus and Ukraine + Russia are parts where there are real life conflicts, i dont see SCS going there. Or atleast not going in hot areas. And judging by the fact Balkan materials are labeled in editor as "blke_e" - that is balkan east- i can assume the next DLC will be labeled "blke_w" - that is balkan west, Road to Adriatics, most demanded DLC by the community, connecting Italy to Romania/Bulgaria...off course avoiding Kosovo...for reasons...

Can i assume those signs are posted there until the materials for a new DLC are ready? And to misslead to see people reaction? Can i assume that?

That sign already exists in the content browser, I remember seeing it before, with the "RU" extension, if I'm not mistaken.

But yes, Arayas is probably right

Again, I highly doubt this is the western Balkans, just look at the Russian architecture you can find in those screenshots, and before you say that that’s just temporary and from BtBS, some models look especially made for this DLC, for example there’s a wooden hotel in one of the screenshots, and I have never seen it in BtBS, and it definitely doesn’t look like western Balkan architecture

About the conflict stuff, that’s only some areas in Ukraine, they’ll just avoid that, just like what would happen with Kosovo if this was Western Balkans, Belarus doesn’t have any territorial disputes, just some people arguing on whose the president

I dont argue about Russia, it's there, remember why i have said Promods got an urgent rush to expand in Ukraine, the Road to Moscow is possible. On the other hand they dont make mistakes to build an area who is gonna be in the next DLC. You know they claim they have inside info, and i believed that even before they admited.
Also making the hole gap between Baltic and Romania seams too much for a DLC. We will see, i dont have a problem with either way.
