Heart of...Russia?
Re: Heart of...Russia?
You got the point of this poll. We all want to support SCS and to have many DLC's, but there is a line who separate the beauty of a game and the uglyness of reality. I want to see how people will draw the line. And SCS also.
Re: Heart of...Russia?
My country was also invaded by the Russian Far Eastern Army this morning. Neighboring countries include Russia, North Korea, and China.
I'm sure HOR won't be released in the near future.
Also, Sergei is not Putin, Kim Jong Un, or Xi Jinping. He made a great contribution to the map of Russia, regardless of politics.
I know he's close to eastern Ukraine, but do you think he's getting different fake news in Russia than in Europe, the US or Japan?
I just don't want to believe that such a war is a reality in the 21st century.
I use Google Translate and apologize in advance for any incorrect English.

Извините Сергей, вы правы. Не правильно перечеркивать труды которыми я и многие члены сообщества пользовались. Но больше нет!
Excuse me Sergey, you're right. It is not cool to spoil all your efforts for mod which me and other community members used for years. But no more!

Re: Heart of...Russia?
What is happening in Ukraine is awful, and Putin did make a huge mistake in doing it. But SCS is czech, not russian, and like has been mentioned before, normal russians for the most part dont agree at all in the war going on right now, a war that could have probably been avoided had ukraine had a president that gave putin a guarantee not to join nato (since he and most russians dont want US nukes 300 kilometers away from Moscow). and where was the media when Azerbaijan just last year where using drones sent by turkey to cut down armenians to fight a war with them mostly remotely since they lost every normal battle they have had with armenia over the past 30 years. Also, theyre was no real criticism of Russia when they annexed parts of Georgia back in 2008. Both they and Armenia are sovereign countries too, why dont they matter but Ukraine does? I pray for a peaceful and quick de-escalation of this conflict. Western media for the most part is some of the most biased unbalanced drivel the past 10 years at least, nearly everything australian news has been claiming in recent memory has been anti-European pro-Globalist crap, so that fact alone makes me question the truth of the whole tragedy in Ukraine right now where its 24/7 Putin bad, Ukraine good. Why is it when America, The UK or another western power does something horrific (like the war on Iraq, the stupid war in Afghanistan, when Madeline Albright dropped bombs on Serbian Hospitals in 1999 or when Hillary and Obama decided to turn the most prosperous African country, Libya, into a country which is still to this day, a terrorist hellhole) not one of them faced sanctions or condemnation on a global scale, but Russia do? Make no mistake, Russia deserves sanctions and global criticism for this but so do all those other countries when they decided to start unjust wars. I'm from Australia with only Anglo blood so dont have any bias from this, just seeing it from an outsiders perspective. This is why i try to avoid politics (and religion) at all costs anyway, no one ever makes friends talking about it, but you can sure lose em quickly doing it. ETS2 is a trucking game, not a war simulation like ARMA, so i dont see why whether they release heart of russia or not should be an issue anyway. Lets all Hope in a few weeks this will all be over and casualties are minimal, Ukraine makes a quick recovery ecomonically even though the chances of that arent great

Re: Heart of...Russia?
I thought the same, but as you see all over (even SCS blog comments at Ukraine announcement post) the regular russians are fighting nazi and drug addicts, they need to eliberate Ukraine...from life i supose.
Offering now to russian players a DLC with their home, to entertain themselfs while they support the "entertainement" of inocent people....its not a smart move. What we think about this, as people not involved in this matter, its irelevant. The train has left the station and everything branded Russia now is targeted.
There is no country around Russia who was not a victim of this people. I will not buy the DLC and i've lost my interest to see what Russia has to offer. Both game and real life.

Re: Heart of...Russia?
Fair enough, steam sells they're games and dlcs separately country by country, so they could always block the sale of the game to Russian I.Ps completely (like they do with the Hatred game in my country), and donate 50% of all sales to help Ukrainian humanitarian efforts. Either that, or they could delay they game and include Ukraine as part of the DLC and do the same thing, donate a percentage of all sales to Ukraine humanitarian charities. It would be a waste to scrap a years worth of work which were made by people that have nothing to do with the tragedy taking place on the european steppes.Arayas wrote: ↑March 3rd, 2022, 2:48 amI thought the same, but as you see all over (even SCS blog comments at Ukraine announcement post) the regular russians are fighting nazi and drug addicts, they need to eliberate Ukraine...from life i supose.

Bein thinking its kinda ironic though that they have been hesistant to do a balkan dlc for so long because of political reasons, they choose to do this, and its turned out to be 1000% worse for SCS than if they did (Croatia, Serbia, Slovenia, Bosnia, Greece etc) first like the majority of the community wanted them to do anyway
Re: Heart of...Russia?
Sorry mate but it is wrong example because Azerbaijan did it in own territory and liberated most of the own sovereign country (excluding small part when separatists are still exist under Russian protection). And we did noty invade to armenia but they shelling our cities (See example Ganja https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2020_Ganj ... le_attacks Barda https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2020_Bard ... le_attacks) and also two Iskanders missile intercept launched to Baku. Ukraine share with us love and support in patriotic war in 2020and where was the media when Azerbaijan just last year where using drones sent by turkey to cut down armenians to fight a war with them mostly remotely since they lost every normal battle they have had with armenia over the past 30 years.

So, Sergey, do you really mean to tell me that, beside yours, these are the only countries on the planet against nazis and drug-addicts? C'mon, mate, I was thinking you're a smart one...
