@clear F1

When using a non-owned trailer you choose a cargo and then just connect the truck to the trailer,
while with an owned trailer, you just place the whole vehicle, truck and owned trailer and load
the cargo. After that and until unloading the cargo at the destination, do you see ANY reason for
the game to treat the vehicle differently while driving from A to B?

Good morning all

I am a bit busy with family matters this morning but I will do more testing later today and report back.

This subject is also mentioned on ETS2 scs forum 1.40 bugs.

@JohnH

Take your time mate! Yes, there's several topic on SCS forum discussing this too!
But right now, I don't want you to test anything, just think and answer the question.

@Bengan
I don't think it makes any difference to the trailer.

In my experience from the past to 1.40, I have never driven an owned trailer on the European and Russian maps without a stutter.
I have also read most of the SCS forums.

I have read
The same applies to the absence of Promods.
It is the same with all map mods.
The same goes for dampers off the controller.
The same goes for the Fov adjustment.
I never have a stutter for 10 minutes.
It is normal to have a stutter every few seconds to 30 seconds.
Sometimes there is a freeze of more than 1 second.
This happens most often near an interchange or junction.
There is no difference between high and low FPS.

Bengan, I don't think it can be improved without SCS support, is that correct?
The only question is that it doesn't happen to Bengan at all.
Also, I don't have an ATS but people say it doesn't happen there.

I had a lot of time on my hands so I wrote this.

Strange clear F1 you have freeze and stutter so often. Mine ETS stutters only for micro stutters (0,1 - 0,2 s) and then fps (60 fps 99% goes down to 20 ),it`s not so often , but still annoying.

@Tapir

Mate, clear F1 reports what he has read at the SCS forum, NOT what he gets himself!

OK, but it`s there really a difference between ETS trailers and ATS trailers ? Cause ATS with owned trailer is 100% stutter free!

@Tapir

I have NO idea if the definition and building of the ATS trailers differ from the ETS2 ones.
I only know that the game engine is NOT 100% the same.

Any idea why it never seems to stutter with Standalone Maps or multiplayer?
