looooooong loading times

hi guys, since using wombats global edition my loading times has shot up from 4 minutes to 20 mins! cant post my game log on paste bin as it exceeds the limit for free version

When you load the combo for the first time, it takes a long time to load...It can take up to half an hour or more
So just wait until the game loads.

It you want to post the compleet game log...just split them in two parts

Or ZIP the game log textfile and Attach, much smaller size!

that game log file i just posted is my 3rd time loading the combo. i understand the first time but not all the time

very ugly.....I load Wombat combo as fast as usual.


EDIT: Wombat reported some times ago, that 2 identical combos had different loading times. He doesn´t knew any reason for that. Perhaps you start a new profile with your combo and check the new loading time.

im trying it now. the only thing ive got different from wombat is ROS, hes got 7.7 on his combo and ive got 7.8. do i still need to put his ROS fix in the mod manager and also the map file as he says its included in promzona

edit: still 20 minute load time :/

Sounds like you have something in the wrong load order, or an outdated road connection file and a bunch of out of date mods not compatible with 1.37. With all the updated files, and everything in the right order, the first time loading a profile with new maps should take up to 15 minutes, and any time after that should load pretty much immediately. Also of note: Any time you update a map mod on that profile, the game has to recache the road network.

None of my map combos work with ROS 7.8! And besides, youd still be using the ROS 7.7 map unless you also remove the current Promzona (the map is included there).
The difference in loading times I saw in some cases was a one time issue. It has never happened again since one specific map combo for 1.35.
