Using the Map Editor
Re: Using the Map Editor
If you are using "edit europe" wich i assume, the editor will save ALL europe. You must choose from that list just the sectors you are working in. After save and closing the editor, transfer edited sectors from base folder to your mod.

Re: Using the Map Editor
Allright, I think I'll try it out tomorrow. Thanks for the help, A! I'll give you a credit when I get it done, as a Supervisor!
Choosing sectors from the editor or is there something I missed?

Not from within the Editor, from the 'base' folder where the Editor saves the sectors,
in your case /base/map/europe. But only the ones you have made changes to!

Re: Using the Map Editor
I think I get it. So when I save, there are a lot of sectors. I only select the sectors I use, all the others sectors are deleted. The next time I load the combo into the editor, it should load properly, right?
Re: Using the Map Editor
Well, you have to make a mod of those sectors and place that mod in your modfolder.
The Map Editor loads the map from your modfolder, but saves the map to /base/map!!!!

Re: Using the Map Editor
Now I get it!
So, my basic error was that I extracted the sectors from YKSRSK and Promods, made a mod and didn't put them into the mod afterwards...

Re: Using the Map Editor
To be explicit, EVERY time you exit the Editor, you have to pack the sectors YOU have
modified and should be in your own mod in the end, in a mod and place that in your
modfolder, otherwise you will loose the work you've done in the latest Editor session!
