Re: Using the Map Editor

I just read that, maybe it's another way to set the actual distance to visibility for a model (like 400m) but i don't know if it's actually working until i try. Just for fun, i will never use it, the "far" option seams to be enough for me. There is always the risk of seeing a floating mountain for example, just because it has different red.distance than the rest of the landscape.

And of course, again me... This time I have a problem with removing dead end (barriers). Because I do not see a node from barrier at all. It looks like this: Image

@Dawid2849

If I remember correctly you should have a red triangle in one end
and a green one in the other, but as you say, I can't see it either.
How does it look in the other end? Have you lowered it beneath
the surface? Arayas can probably resolve this easily! :D

That's not normal. Something it's wrong, except maybe it's locked.
Open Content browser, select buildings, find DEAD END, right click on it, find all references, select the one on your sector, properties, cancel. See if now it's selected. Delete. You may also can try to divide it by middle mouse and see if became visible.

I'm not home for this week but it's simple: Check your border entrance/exit in all border points. If ONE entrance (or exit) it's not right it creates conflict with ALL border points, even those are corect ones.
You either have a missing border point (allowing other country definition to "invade" Poland, therefore the conflict with all other border points) or you have a wrong one. Check your roads there are leaving/entering Poland.
If you have border points in Road connections, you must check them too.

Climate errors = ignore.
Check sign template definitions, a missing one it's bad.

And again thank you very much Arayas for help! I had to bring back the old versions of the sectors with national borders before I modified them. I do not have a dim idea what I would do without you! :D :D

Arayas, what's your opinion on how the Sign Editor is working in 1.34.x?
I ask because I get a sign problem when my map addon is used together
with TSM and want to know if there's a chance for me to fix that now.
