It's better now, you can save your own templates! 8-) 8-) 8-) 8-)
Not the way was before but still easy. I will make a short tutorial.

Arayas, what happens if, in a map addon, the europe.mbd file is missing?
What's in it and why would one NOT let it be included?

Nothing, the mdb file just tells to editor to open the sectors from the folder with same name ( bing.mdb for bing folder, for example).
It's not needed for playing and if you want to edit one map and that map doesnt have a mdb file, just copy the original europe.mdb file in the place and start editing.

I lied! Obviously that triggered a followup question.

Probably to adjust the standard map to your scale. If you use a custom background you dont need that. I never use it so i may be wrong.

Or.... it's making those editing controls available (more likely on second view)

Thank you very much Arayas for your tutorials! My area is (sorry for the word used) shithole and I'm sure no one will do Biłgoraj in ETS2. I know a person who also records ME tutorials and it is GrakuPL, but he records only in Polish (it is a Poland Rebuilding developer). After some time (half a year or a year), when I learn at least a little Map Editor, I will do my city in ETS2 thanks to you! Everyone knows that the beginnings in Map Editor are difficult, but when you learn it you can work wonders! :D

By the way, let me mention why the provinces such as Lublin, Podkarpacie, Świętokrzyskie and Podlasie are poor. It is related to the fact that for 123 years the Austrian and Russian partitions of Poland were not developed here, and during the Second World War, all current eastern Poland was completely destroyed. It is said that Biłgoraj was the most destroyed city of the Lublin Voivodeship in 1939 (about 80% of the city was destroyed in 6 days by Germans).

Edit: Now I will not even start work on the map because the national road number 74 (the shortest way to connect Biłgoraj with anything) is being rebuilt by the Promods team.
