You can map having NO zip or scs file in your mod folder, just the uncompresed folders, and in this way you can save the board/template wherever you want. Yes the editor "reads" zip's, scs's but also folders.

I finally learnt how to make custom terrain textures, however it's a little bit shiny and catches the sun. How can I fix this? If you drive facing away from the sun it looks fine. I'm assuming it's one of the many sliders in Blender under Materials?

save the dds without mipmaps, and see the MAT file who calls the tobj->dds, there are "shininess" and "reflection" values you can tweak.

Yesterday, I created a new company for my Bartoland card (in the same way as the others)
and after compilation and re-opening in the editor, no more companies of my map are recognized...?
I checked all my files, everything was OK...
i redid the manipulations, but nothing has changed...
This morning I took over my previous card (without the new business creation),
and I created a new village, just like the others...
and once in the editor, no village of my map is recognized anymore...—and!
I don't think we're limited by the number of companies or villages,
so where can this concern come from?
If you have an idea, I'm a taker

if something is wrong, a conflict or something, first thing to look is editor log.

After uninstalling, re-installing ETS2,
then various tests and tests, it seems to be working again,
just having to delete this line on the city file!!!

On my map, I regularly add companies and make their signs...
that I fill in "signs.bartoland.sii"
but the new series of panels i make "erases" all the others in the editor...
the only reason i can see is that i am over 100:
If yes, how to fix the problem: other signs.bartoland files??? , or???
if not, what would be the cause of this defect...

You can't and you should ignore that internal error. Is related to a META file who is not editable and its popping even for SCS materials. If they can't fix their own game....
