2 days ago I completed the Steam "milestone" of 3 Years in Service, and 999 hours in ETS2.

I realized that these 3 years represent 3 years lost in front of the screen, 3 years in which I could learn Python that my father keeps reminding me of, I could have prepared for something that will be useful in life.

And, with all due respect to the developers, I don't see the map editor as a stable future job.

So, through this message I announce that I am retiring for a while.
I will still keep the Discord server, the YouTube channel where I will post occasionally and stay on the RO-Extended forum.

I am open to talking to you guys as before, if you want to be my friends after retirement I am glad, if not, I'm sorry.

The only important thing is not other people's behavior or thinking (I know what I'm talking about...!), but to do & realize what is important for you. You've done what you had to do, you got talent to do it.

I also respect your choice, as you are young and ought to be preparing for a good life ahead.
BUT, don't get stuck on Python, there's a lot of other languages and other stuff worth learning.
And further, when the time comes, we will probably still be here if you later decide to pick up
mapping again! Good Luck in life Stefan!

I promise I'll be back in the editor when I have time in the future.

Thank you for your support and for always being with me.

However, I promise that after RO-Extended 2.8 appears, if there are any issues related to my area, I will try to fix them (if I can) so that I can get the job done correctly.

@Arayas Please don't take it as anything personal, that project I mentioned in the PM 2 days ago is useless, I won't start it.

Everyone is free to take the time and decisions best for them in some moments of their life.
This project was created and based on my work, any other future team member is a plus to the project.
I never had deadlines or pressure for whoever wanted to join, and the team member was free to map whatever, in Roextended limits and vision based on previous experiences.
You tooked your time to finish your project inside ROEX and that is all i need to know and apreciate.
I had many (waaay too many) demands to join the team from people who later discovered mapping is not quite easy.
For that reason, thank you and good luck.
