Re: Best weather mod

Right, I have Fael Environment v3.1 in my present 1.37 SCS Vanilla based profile
and have used it almost all the time earlier, but sadly not lately, so I'm so glad
that Rafaelbc is back again. His trees are so much better than SCS Vanilla!

Re: [DX11] Help regarding Nvidia Profile Inspector (NPI)

There you are right as hell, because it was when you suggested to use
r_vsync value greater than 1 that I got my supersmooth environ, so thanks
for that.

Re: [DX11] Help regarding Nvidia Profile Inspector (NPI)

@JHTrucker

Again, the phenomenon clear F1 is talking about is, as far as I can tell,
ONLY a question of something not optimized in the map and has nothing
to do with different settings. You would get a drop at that location whether
you have a 144Hz monitor and RTX2080Ti or a GTX760 with 60Hz monitor.

Re: [DX11] Help regarding Nvidia Profile Inspector (NPI)

@JHTrucker

Well, for me the DSR on top is the best that ever happened to me, but
sure, the extra bitmap to render WILL make the FPS drop. :(

Re: [DX11] Help regarding Nvidia Profile Inspector (NPI)

@JHTrucker

I'll just add to clear F1's problem, that exactly on that video spot there is some unoptimized stuff
which makes the FPS drop, just as described it happens in Kiev (Kyiv) in Arayas Ukraine. But as you
say, is is a question of having that gradually happen and not flipping downwards!

@olaf28

Yes, the only good thing to do is to get a new card! How about the CPU,
will it be on par with a better g-card or is the whole machine old?

Re: [DX11] Help regarding Nvidia Profile Inspector (NPI)

@clear F1 I have a video here, just recorded, under the same conditions, but you have a more competent graphics card than I have. For me it is soooooo smooth at a steady 30 FPS! BUT, I must admit that when trying the new 1.37 OB in Kiev (Kyiv) I get 22 - 30 FPS in the city, but I have always had a p...

Re: [DX11] Help regarding Nvidia Profile Inspector (NPI)

@olaf28 Thanks buddy for the report! May I ask a couple of questions? 1. Which graphics card do you have? 2. Have you configured the lowest level of AA from here, the 2xMSAA + 2xSGSSAA ? As you say 20 FPS is better than 12 FPS, but is as you also say TOO DAMN LOW! By using uset r_vsync "2" in config...
