Maybe a stupid question, but is Speed of Snow no longer needed when using ROS?

Is it still possible to swap out Eurafrica for Maghreb in this 1.45 version?

So what is going to happen with this map from 1.45 forwards now that development has stopped due to PMME.
Are parts going to be integrated into Road to Asia & upcoming Road to Africa. Or are the parts in Egypt, Saudi Arabia and beyond lost forever to us.

Other option is to overwrite the "invading" sectors with RSM in the conflict area's and connect to the "non-invading" sectors. This time it's a possibility. But would you do that every time ProMods is updated with more invading sectors? I don't think this re-invading is the solution. I was thinking...
